Too early? I think not.
If you follow me on Instagram you know our home has been decorated for Christmas since the beginning of October. Though this was for a project and we needed the content early, it’s truly been so much fun having it all done thanks to Inside Stories. I started taking a poll from people on when is the right time to decorate for Christmas. Everyone I asked (minus my husband – who thinks after thanksgiving), agreed that after halloween is the perfect time. It’s one less thing to have to do so you can focus on all things holiday entertaining. Plus, it makes your home so cozy as we head into the holiday season! I had the absolute pleasure of teaming up with the fabulous ladies of Inside Stories to use their services and decorate our home for Christmas! It was such an easy, no fuss service. They asses your current holiday decor inventory then discuss with you the “theme” of decor the you want to see in your home. I put together a Pinterest Board for inspiration for them, then gave them gift cards to go buy more decor to fall in line with the theme. Install day came and a few hours later, my home was a Christmas wonderland (Winston approved).

For the theme of my decor this year I wanted to stick with neutral tones, lots of greenery, pops of white, gold, and black. I am so in love with everything Inside Stories did!

In the kitchen they added a few simple touches to our floating shelves, island and above our stove. I am so obsessed with the wreath hanging over our stove! That is a great way to add a little holiday accent to your kitchen!

Over in the bar area, this transformation was my favorite to see. As you may know I have all our glassware on the shelves. Inside Stories added greenery on the top shelf instead, and mixed in these adorable star accents and gold holiday lights. On the shelf below they left my collection of gold rimmed glassware which is perfect for holiday entertaining. Along the bar the greenery was another fun accent to tie in the theme! I love this tray they used for a few simple bar accessories like this mixing glass. Hanging on the wall is this adorable wreath (similar here) above my favorite nutcrackers that I have had in my collection for years!

Lastly, in the living room everything turned out so cozy with just a few extra holiday touches. Above our cloud couch they added this gorgeous, simple, garland to frame the window behind the couch. On the couch they added two larger grey pillows to make the seating area even cozier. In the corner you will find our tree – my TOP favorite part of my home decorated for Christmas. Inside Stories used all of my neutral colored ornaments along with gold ones throughout the tree. Over on the coffee table they rearranged a few accessories and added in black taper candles on gold holders along with a small vases filled with a bunch of bunny tail. A subtle way to dress up your coffee table for the holidays.

This was such an incredible service to use! I highly recommend Inside Stories for your holiday decorating needs. Click here to learn more on how to hire them if you are in the Denver area!
