This city is filled with so many incredible restaurants! As my fiancé would say, we are having a “restaurant renaissance”! It’s so fun living in a city filled with delicious places to eat and new ones constantly coming up. I am a frequent visitor to Black Eye Coffee, which has two locations one in the Highlands and one in Capital Hill. I like to come here for meetings or to get myself out of the house and work on the computer for a bit. One thing some may not know is the Black Eye Coffee in Capital Hill turns into White Lies after 5pm. Now, if you know me well you know I love a to grab a glass of rosé along with a delicious snack for happy hour! This is the place ya’ll.

For starts, the atmosphere is eclectic and cool. From the printed tiled floor to gorgeous wall paper and velvet green booths, this location does not disappoint. The happy hour menu is small, my favorite being the Brussels and truffle fries. So, next time you are looking for a “hip” place to grab a drink (yes, I just said “hip”), head here!
