Can you believe we are a month out from our wedding day??
I can not even explain the excitement I am feeling! A year and nine months of planning has gone by so quickly and to see everything start to come together is the best feeling in the world. This process has not always been the most exciting however. Now, don’t get me wrong, I never wanted to be one of those brides who complained about how stressful wedding planning is, but boy, it can be stressful. The biggest takeaway from this experience though is remembering what the whole purpose of planning this celebration is. I get to marry my best friend!
I have had so much fun with every single little detail that is going into our day. Yes, this also came with it’s ups and downs, but when you start to see final products of things it’s the best feeling in the world! One, in particular, our wedding invitations.
This was something from the start that I had NO vision or idea what I wanted them to look like. You see so many on Pinterest that are gorgeous but when it comes to your own, I personally wanted to come up with something different and unique. A fun little “spoiler” about our wedding day is that our theme is very modern and all white and gold. So, the goal was to execute this through our invitations. I wanted our guests to open the envelopes and experience a “wow” factor with the invitation, getting the whole feel for what the wedding will be like. And boy did we accomplish that!
