Jumpsuit Into the New Year!

December 29, 2017 · In: Holiday Entertaining, What to Wear

2017 has been a whirlwind.

I still cannot believe how fast this past year has flown by. Looking back on all the exciting things that have happened personally and professionally I am overjoyed and filled with so much excitement for the new year to come. The past year was consumed with planning my wedding and the celebrations that went along with it so, professionally I took a back seat from focusing on my work. One thing no one ever told me was the little bit of depression you feel once your wedding day is over. Though I am beyond excited to be married to my best friend, something felt missing in my life once we returned from our honeymoon. Most likely it was not being able to scour the internet for wedding inspiration, take fun trips to wedding dress shop and communicate with my wedding planner on a daily basis. I found filling the void to be difficult. The work I was doing wasn’t exciting me and I honestly just felt unmotivated. It took me some time but I am so happy with the direction The Every Hostess is going right now and cannot wait to see where it goes in the new year. So, my personal goal for 2018 isn’t really a resolution. It’s more of an aspiration to completely jump into the new year with every ounce of motivation in me!

What are some of your 2018 aspirations??

More importantly though, this jumpsuit from Melrose and Madison is BEYOND perfect to wear to a NYE party! I paired it with a simple white turtleneck underneath to wear in a winter climate, but you could easily get away with nothing underneath, especially if you take this little number to the beach!
