A Minimal Christmas Dinner Table

Setting the table for the holidays…

…is my favorite time of year to set the table. There is something so warm and inviting to any holiday themed table setting. This year I wanted to keep things more minimal with this Christmas dinner table featuring products from a local Denver based store, Miller Lane Mercantile. (For those of you who do not live in Denver I’ve linked everything I could find / similar options below, but I recommend calling the store to purchase the goods too!). One of my favorite items on the table is the gorgeous decanter with wooden ball which you can purchase through Miller Lane Mercantile – it’s perfect for having water out on the table!

In order to keep this table “minimal” I stuck with neutral tones with a small pops of tones of red in the dried flower arrangement and within in the Burgundy taper candles, and the vases. For added color and texture to break up this palette I used these yellow MINNA napkins along with black flatware. I especially love these wooden plates sitting on top of my white plates with gilded rims. They would be so fun to use for cheeses and meats out on the table setting – or even if you pre set cheeses and meats on them! Also great for a salad or first course you may serve!

For the centerpiece I stuck with dried blooms adding in berry branches. In bud vases I added bunny tails! All such a simple centerpiece and what is great is you can reuse this arrangement throughout the new year. With your vote on IG I added a rustic orange colored napkin under the flower arraignment to break up the table from feeling so white while not having a runner on it. Additionally I added these Floral Society taper candles and white porcelain taper candle holders from Miller Lane Mercantile.

Lastly, I had these place cards from the wreath making party shoot a few years ago and thought they would be the perfect addition. I highly recommend getting place cards made with guests names (such as family members) so you can reuse them throughout the years! I also added “merry Christmas” coasters under the glassware to give the setting a little bit more of a Christmas feel!
