Fourth of July Weekend Essentials

June 21, 2021 · In: Lifestyle

I keep telling everyone it’s almost Christmas.

This year feels like it is flying by, I cannot believe it’s almost fourth of July weekend! This is one of my favorite weekends of the year because it always feels like the official start to summer. We usually head up to our lake house in Montana and spend the weekend on the boat (if the weather permits, Montana weather can be pretty chilly up until the end of July), BBQ ribs, make fun cocktails and watch the fireworks. It’s such a fun time to be with family and/or friends and celebrate. In the spirit (and since it’s been awhile since we have done a roundup), I am rounding up my favorite Fourth of July weekend essentials. From entertaining must haves, to essentials to keep you clean while on the go (eh hm, WIPEYS!), these items are a must to have a fun and safe fourth of july!

To shop, simply hover your mouse over the item and click!

  1. Rattan Serveware – I love all things rattan! They are super durable and easy to transport if you are taking your fourth of July party out on the boat, by a lake/river or over to a neighbors.
  2. Picnic Basket – I love having a picnic basket on hand to carry food items.
  3. Ice Bucket – a must to keep drinks cold!
  4. Pitcher – I love this pitcher for summer time entertaining. It’s perfect to keep a mixed drink in or even water for your table setting.
  5. Cups – and of course you need matching cups to your pitcher! These are the perfect themed cups for Fourth of July!
  6. Napkins – these gorgeous napkins could be used all summer long, but are a great addition to a chic Fourth of July spread.
  7. Cheese Board – A must to own! There are so many uses for a cheese board beyond cheese… you could set up a little BYO hot dog spread on this board, dessert board, use it to display cocktails, etc..
  8. Picnic Blanket – I like to have a picnic blanket on hand for moments when there might not be enough seating or any seating at all. Plus, having a little Fourth of July picnic is such a cute idea!
  9. Wipeys Jetpack – A MUST for your Fourth of July essentials! Each wipe is formulated with toxic-free ingredients so you are safely cleaning while on the go. I love filling the Jetpack bag with other little essentials I might need while celebrating the 4th whether it be chapstick, hair ties, sunscreen etc. it easily stashes in a tote bag (or even picnic basket) so you have your personal items with you!
  10. Tote – Such a cute tote to stash your WIPEYS Jetpack bag in!
  11. Sunscreen – As if I need to explain why this is an essential… but this is my favorite clean ingredient sunscreen, it feels amazing on your skin too!
  12. Portable Speaker – I always have a little speaker with us especially when you’re hanging out outside and having a picnic!
  13. Board Games – I don’t know about you, but in my adult years board games are my favorite necessity to have with us during the summer. It’s a friendly, fun activity to do while hanging out, grilling and drinking cocktails!
  14. Cozy Blanket – We usually go out on the boat to watch the fireworks so I like having a blanket with me to keep us cozy! It’s also a great accessory to keep in your car for moments when it’s chilly.
  15. Cozy Sweater – Always have a cozy sweater on hand, especially for going to places in the summer time that blast the AC!
  16. Bucket Hat – my favorite trend of this year! I also always have a hat on in the sun because once you get into your 30s sun protection is more important than ever!
