Spring in Denver is a funny concept…
As I am writing this there was a new snowfall that is melting away. The weather the rest of the week finally looks like it’s going to take a turn, but no doubt there might be another cold, snowy day in our future. That doesn’t stop me from having all things spring on my mind! I recently hosted this dinner party to celebrate two dear friends birthday’s.
The Setting:
For the centerpiece I chose these glass bud vases along with these white ones I recently picked up and filled them with white ranunculus and greenery to give the table a simple, light feel. I love using these glass hurricane candleholder tubes to go over tall candlesticks. It adds such a beautiful touch!
Another little fun addition to the table were these bird glasses. Stay tuned for a recipe to serve in them!
On the Menu:
For the menu I chose to go for a French theme! Spring time always make me want to sneak away to France. White wine chicken along with cauliflower mash and asparagus paired perfectly with a few bottles of Sancerre. I ran out of time to whip up dessert so opted for an assortment of treats from the bakery section at Whole Foods. They made for the perfect sweet bite after this delicious meal!
