Inspiration for Every Occasion

December Favorite Things

January 8, 2024 · In: Must Haves

Happy New Year!

  1. Lunya Pajamas – I have been living in these this winter and there is a reason why they are number on my December favorite things list. They are so incredibly cozy! I am an oversized shirt for sleeping kind of girl. With a little pair of sleep shorts, this is the coziest sleep shirt to be in for a winter nights rest.
  2. Silver Booties – If you follow me on IG you saw me wear these booties about three times with my holiday looks. They’re under $50 and truly one of my favorite purchases I made this month. I’m actually really excited to keep wearing them through the rest of winter as silver seems to be very on trend right now! Plus, they are a great purchase to keep for next years holiday looks.
  3. Dr. Death Season 2 – My husband and I listened to the podcast for Dr. Death season 1 and 2 so it’s been fun watching the show bring it to life. HOLY MOLY ya’ll, I’ve never watched something that gave me such anxiety while loving it all at the same time. I think it helped that I listened to the podcast awhile ago so couldn’t remember the full story – wow, they did an amazing job. It’s incredibly captivating and such a wild story!
  4. Solitare – A friend introduced me to this game over the holidays and I’m obsessed! It’s a great mind game, plus fun to have sitting on your coffee table for guests to play with while they are hanging out.
  5. Rag & Bone Jeans – I have been on the hunt for the perfect jean for 3 years. Honestly, I completely forgot about Rag & Bone jeans – I love their clothes but have not tried on a pair of jeans since high school. Ya’ll these are the perfect pair of jeans! Especially for the tall girlies! They fit true to size and are very comfortable.
  6. Steak Au Pouvoir – As you recently saw the husband and I made our way to France for a little fall trip and all I was dreaming about having there was steak au pouvoir. Shockingly, we never did have it over there, although we had some amazing boeuf dishes. So, the craving was still strong in December and at last I made it for Christmas dinner. A highlight of my December favorite things! It’s the perfect cozy meal to serve at your next winter dinner party! I also highly recommend investing in this pan if you don’t have one. It’s fabulous for making sauces such as au pouvoir.
  7. Bamford Mist Spray – I found this product last year the we visited the Cotswolds and have been obsessed with it. It’s so refreshing to use in the morning, it’s a great setting spray and just makes your skin feel so hydrated!
  8. Silk Pillow Case – If you haven’t gotten on the silk pillow case trend you must! Silk is so good to sleep on for your skin and hair. Plus, it’s such a game changer for sleeping, there is something about the silk that makes your pillow even cozier. I have one for my home and then keep one on hand for travel!
  9. Dinner Tonight Cookbook – I think Defined Dish might be the sole food blogger I constantly cook from. She has such great, simple, healthy meals that always end up being delicious (no issues with how they are written and they don’t contain 1,000 ingredients like other food bloggers, eh hm). She just cam out with this cookbook and I am SO excited to start cooking from it. I also very much appreciate that it’s only dinner recipes. During the weekdays that is all I am looking for!
  10. Ski Tote – Although last on the list, this is a top of my December favorite things! I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect tote to keep all my ski gear in and this is it. Isn’t it the cutest?! I love getting into the car with my bag filled with all I need – Helmut, goggles, neck gator, etc. plus, I got this cute pouch to keep my Wipeys in, lip balm, electrolytes packs, sunscreen, etc. in so I have all I need for a ski day.
