As we officially head into the holiday season and you prepare your holiday decor for your home, one of my favorite ways to decorate is adding simple little holiday details to each room.
One of the ways I like to do this is by sticking to a simple neutral color palette to not overwhelm my home with too much decor. For my decor this year I stuck with green, white, black, silvers and gold. I love how the pops of green really stood out throughout our house without feeling overly Christmas-y. Texture is everything when it comes to decorating for Christmas. Adding small trinkets, greenery, bows and feathers are all simple textures that will simply create beautiful holiday decor around your home.
I love how our entry way table and staircase came together! On the stairs I lined the railing with this fun greenery leaving it be to not overwhelm the space but also adding texture. On the table you will see these little black ceramic Christmas trees paired with a feather white tree adding a different texture to the space. The candle and vase with pompous grass is always on that table so I only added those few things to this space!
Over in our kitchen you will find a few additional touches of texture – above the oven I hung a simple green wreath, above the kitchen sink window you will find snow covered greenery and on the island a vase filled with greenery (that matches the staircase greenery!). I love these simple additions that give the kitchen a nice pop of decor.

Over on my dining table you will find a simple setting of greenery and pops of holiday flare throughout! I love setting a centerpiece on my dining table so that when we host any holiday parties or sit down for dinner we always have a festive table!
Over in the bar area you will find one of my favorite decorated spaces in our home. I had so much fun with it – adding in bows on our champagne coupes, fun holiday trinkets on the shelves and switching out our cocktail napkins for holiday ones. The trees next to the bar gear light up making it such a fun display in the evenings.
The last little spot you will find where I introduced simple holiday decor is our coffee table. Two little details that added texture and color – this fun boucle Christmas tree and these taper candle holders!
