My holiday table setting, giving cozy winter wonderland!
Ya’ll know I am all about the cozy feels when it comes to decorating my home, especially for the holidays. I love how this winter wonderland table setting came together to achieve just that for our Christmas dinner. I wanted to tie in the evergreen trees you see outside of our dining area window into the centerpiece so I placed a short artificial pine needle garland in the center and filled it with birch pillar candle holders, bottle brush trees and these cute wooden deer sculptures.
For the table setting I chose to use these cream embroidered placemats that you saw on my spring table setting – paired with my gold lined china, a green napkin and these adorable little fur stocking flatware holders to give the setting a cozy texture! I love that the placemats give the setting an elegant feel while being paired with a simple frayed napkin like this one still gives the setting a cozy winter wonderland feel. When creating your setting, have fun with it. Start with simple details and keep adding to them with a pop of color or a texture. If something feels off take a piece away. I always play around with different pieces when creating my settings until I land on what looks put together. This one had about four versions before I landed on this!
