Styling Your Bar Cart

April 22, 2014 · In: Parties

Untitled

Is it 5 o’clock yet?

I love our little bar cart area in our home! Jeremy comes home from work every day, and pours himself a glass of scotch to enjoy on the couch while watching out favorite weeknight shows. Whether or not he is paying attention to the pretty flowers I put next to his giant bottle of whiskey, it still is a perfect little touch to make the area look pretty!

Use these tips when styling your bar cart to make it an area for him and you to enjoy:

  • I will say he fought me on it, but I love displaying the alcohol in different glass decanter bottles. It makes it look much cleaner when you can’t see the alcohol labels.
  • Flowers or a potted plant at the perfect little added touch.
  • Don’t forget your glassware! Having scotch glasses or martini glasses on the cart allows for there to be easy access when pouring drinks.
  • Shake it! Having a martini shaker is ideal if you want to try different concoctions, rather than just straight whiskey on the rocks!

1. Mason Jar Martini Shaker / 2. Flamingo Matches / 3. Oh Joy! Ice Bucket / 4. Flower Straws / 5. Williams and Sonoma Mixer / 6. Gold Cups / 7. Wine Opener / 8. Jet Set Coasters / 9. Shake Recipe Book / 10. Cocktail Napkins / 11. His and Hers Glasses / 12. Kate Spade Openers / 13. Decanters
