Flower arranging 101.
In my belief a flower arrangement is the completion to any dinner party table or event table set up. My favorite part of putting together my events is the flower arrangements LadyBird Poppy and other florists have made me. Obviously not everyone is able to get arrangements from amazing florists around town and just putting a grocery store arrangement in a vase is boring. It is SO SO easy to make yourself a simple little arrangement for your dinner party table using grocery store flowers. Follow these simple steps to create a bountiful arrangement!
1. Buy a pre made arrangement from the grocery store that catches your eye. Whole Foods in my opinion has the most amazing flowers.
2. Buy two extra flowers to add into the arrangement. Make sure one is an arrangement of just bountiful leaves (it will the centerpiece look fuller), second I chose peonies because they are my favorite!
3. Choose a short round or square vase.
4. Cut your flowers. I cut mine about 5 inches off to fit in the vase. They don’t all have to be the same length. It will make it look much fuller if any are drooping over the vase.
6. Add in the extra leaves throughout the sides of the flowers.
Ta da! A beautiful centerpiece for your next dinner party!
