26 - The Every Hostess

26 things I bet you didn’t know about me.

In the spirit of today being my 26th birthday, I thought it would be appropriate to share 26 things you probably didn’t know about me!

My favorite food to eat is chicken fingers and french fries.
My favorite restaurant in Denver is Hillstone because I grew up going to the “Houstons” in Dallas and it reminds me of home.
That being said, I grew up in Dallas!
But, was actually born in Canada.
My favorite color is pink, even though you will actually see me in a lot of neutrals.
I have a puppy named Winston with my fiancé Jeremy, but my family all together has 7 dogs!
I started the blog as a way to either create an online party supply company.
I still have hopes to do that :)
I cannot sleep without an eye mask on. Seriously, I really cannot. (If I don’t have it I use a piece of clothing to cover my eyes!)
My favorite place in the world would have to be Whitefish, Montana!
But, my favorite place to travel to would have to be London.
I was a Fashion Merchandising major at Colorado State University.
I literally have no idea how I ended up at that school, but I am really glad I did :)
My favorite dessert is chocolate mousse. Or literally anything chocolate.
If you ran into me in Denver I likely would be in workout clothes, every single time.
That being said, my favorite things to shop for are swimsuits and workout clothes.
And I LOVE buying cute pajamas.
I only have an older brother.
My favorite cocktail is a dirty martini.
I also LOVE LOVE a glass of wine.
Rosé or a pinot grigo in the summer and red in the winter.
I am ADDICTED to cheese and meat plates.
Jeremy got engaged at a restaurant called “Champagne and Fromage” (just to prove how obsessed I am).
That was in London over Christmas!
You will see a lot of white lace in my closet in the summer time.
Last but not least, I am so grateful for the opportunities I have had with the blog and for each any everyone of you :)

Ok, enough with the corny!

I love this dress from Nordstrom by Elizabeth and James! I actually wore this to a Mexican themed rehearsal dinner earlier this summer and loved how flattering it looked on me! It ran a little small so I sized up. This is the perfect dress to wear to a birthday celebration! I love how bright it is, especially for summer. Pair it with nude heels and a colorful purse.
