We are nearing the week of Thanksgiving and I am sure you are all there with me being very ready for a vacation! We always head somewhere warm so our Thanksgiving tables scape isn’t traditional. Usually it is filed with seashells and star fish and local tropical flowers. I had so much fun putting together this more traditional table scape to give you inspiration for yours.

When putting together your Thanksgiving table setting keep the color scheme warm but don’t be afraid to mix in pops of a cool color. I chose this blue table cloth from Target to break up the table and give it a pop of color. I love love copper for a fall table scape and these candles from Target are the perfect addition.
Add in fun Thanksgiving themed place cards for each of your friends and family so everyone knows where to sit. For the centerpiece don’t be afraid to forage for leaves and branches to save a little money from buying a centerpiece. Add in pumpkins, copper objects and candles to keep the centerpiece full. Make sure you keep it at a low height, no more than a foot tall, so you can have a conversation with everyone at the table.
Set up all the food in a buffet area so the food doesn’t crowd your table. You can decorate the buffet area with more candles and pumpkins as well as any other leaves and branches you may have foraged. Last, serve sangria pre dinner with a light appetizer so your guests are held over while watching football before dinner!
