I have been dying to host a wine tasting party for our friends and thought how perfect it would be to tie this party into a holiday party. Using an different selection of wines, I recommend three reds and three whites, and accompanying cheeses or other tasting treats, this is such a simple holiday party to set up! Make simple wine tasting cards like these by DWC Creative (who can special order them for you!). Make sure to add a scale 1 -5 so guests can rate the different “notes” of the wine that they are tasting. At the bottom add a notes section so they can write their comments about the wine to talk about once everyone has tasted everything! Pour small, but generous, tasting pours so everyone gets a little tast. At the end of the tasting let guests have a glass of their favorite wine to sip on!
