Pomegranate Sparkler Cocktail

December 8, 2016 · In: Cocktail Hour, Holiday Entertaining, Recipes

I love a good festive holiday cocktail.

Featured Products

This pomegranate sparkler cocktail is the perfect libation to mix up at your next holiday party or even as a pre cocktail before Christmas dinner! It encompasses all the flavors of the holiday and is a little boozy! Also, yes I am going to go here, pomegranate has antioxidants which are so good for you, PLUS cinnamon lowers blood sugar and reduces heart disease. Its a win wine people. Another favorite thing about this cocktail is the sparkling red wine. My friend has recently introduced me to sparkling red wines and I have to say I am a huge fan. Especially in the winter time, there is something ‘warming’ about a glass of sparkling red wine when you are a huge rosé drinker.

Pomegranate Sparkler Cocktail

Ingredients

Serving Size 2

  • 1 cup Pomegranate Juice
  • 2 oz. vodka
  • 1 cup Sparking Red Wine
  • 1 oz. Cinnamon Simple Syrup
    • 2 cups water
    • 4 cinnamon sticks
    • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • Pomegranate seeds (for garnish)
  • Cinnamon Sticks (for garnish)

Directions

For the simple syrup – In a small sauce pot add water and cinnamon and bring to boil. Simmer for 10 minutes, and strain out cinnamon sticks. Bring water back to a boil, add sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved.

Mix together all the ingredients over ice, garnish with pom seeds and cinnamon sticks and serve!
