With thanksgiving next week the prep is just beginning and now is the time to start your party prep! The most important part to any party in my opinion is the libations! I always have bottles of wine, champagne and alcohol stocked in our bar area. You never know if there is going to be an impromptu holiday party and it helps to have one less task to do when preparing for holiday parties! In our new home we put in a wine fridge and I’m in love. Is that weird? I just love it so much and have no idea how I ever lived without one! I’m so excited to stock the fridge, especially for upcoming holiday parties! My friends over at 90 Plus Cellars have the perfect selection of wines to stock your wine fridge for the holidays!

For starts, a red wine is a must. Even if you aren’t in the red wine mood, have a bottle in stock in case one of your holiday party guests is looking for a glass. 90+ Cellars Lot 75 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is the perfect bottle to have on hand! Im a red wine girl myself and you cant go wrong with a good Pinot Noir, especially in the winter.

As far as sparkling wines, always have a champagne and a sparkling rosé. It’s a nice array of choices for guests. 90+ Cellars Lot 49 Sparkling Rosé and Magic Door Champagne are the perfect go to. Set up a little champagne bar equipped with champagne glasses and the bottles on ice! Make sure to always keep them chilled once you take the bottles out of the wine fridge. I also am a huge fan of canned wines! These Lila Sparkling wines are the perfect drink to have out at holiday party! They also make for a great to go wine too :)

Lastly, choose two options for white wines. One sweeter like the 90+ Cellars Lot 66 Riesling, one a little drier like the 90+ Cellars Lot 158 Beaujolais. It’s so important to have an array of options especially for the holidays! When setting up your bar area for a party, make sure to place out all the right glasses, have a wine opener available and as mentioned, the champagne chilled in a bucket. Have fun little holiday decor around along with candles! All these bottles are also the perfect selection to grab a bottle for the hostess when you are heading to someone else’s holiday party!
