My favorite way to get the girls together!
Whatever your relationship status, Valentine’s Day can be so much more than celebrating being in love! I have always loved the idea of “galentine’s” Day, a celebration with your girlfriends which usually happens February 13th, the day before valentines day (thanks to legend, Leslie Knope). This year though, I thought it would be fun to hosta Girls Valentines Day Party – on valentines day! There are many ways you can host this little soiree while still squeezing in time with you boo. Host a luncheon, cocktail hour or have the girls over for dessert!
For this dessert party, there are a few simple details you can focus on to put together the perfect valentines table setting. First up, is a pretty tablescape, which in my mind is the main impact to any party. You and your girls deserve it! Set the table with pretty pink plates & glassware and gold flatware. These white plates are from Canvas home and the pink ones are from Anthropologie (they are sold out, unfortunately!).
At each spot, place mini signature heart box from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for a little take home treat. On platters and cake stands place out truffles and peanut butter cups! Since this is a dessert party, the perfect pairing to these amazing Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory chocolates is champagne!
Next, you need a gorgeous centerpiece! Stick to white and blush colored flowers with lots of greenery – valentines doesn’t always need to be red! I love the mix of these pink fringe tulips and garden roses with bleached ferns and greenery (all from The Ruffly Rose). I love the mix of gold, pink and green in the tableware to pull out the soft colors in the flowers!
Pick out a sweet little card for each of your guests to show them how much you love them – like this “Valenpine” one from Lana’s Shop. Hand them out as you all sit down to this beautiful table setting!
Basically, have fun with your spread! This is all about putting something together that stands out to you and your girls!
