A simple party menu!

There are endless recipes you can make when it comes to a Super Bowl watching party! From chips and dips to grilling delicious meats and more – there is so much you can do with this spread! Below, are my personal favorite go to super bowl party recipes for a simple and delicious spread!

“The” Best Queso

The Best and Only Queso Recipe

INGREDIENTS
One 1-pound package refrigerated hot breakfast sausage
1 onion, diced
One 2-pound block processed cheese, such as Velveeta
One 10-ounce can diced tomatoes and green chiles
2 cans chopped green chiles
1 jalapeno, diced
For the Guacamole
2 avocado
1 tsp cayenne
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
Chips, for serving

DIRECTIONS
1. Brown the sausage and onion in a large nonstick skillet, breaking the sausage up as you go. Once browned, drain off some of the fat.
2. Chop the cheese block into cubes and add along with the diced tomatoes and green chiles and chopped green chiles, juice and all.
3. Cook over a low heat until it all starts coming together. Then stir in the diced jalapeño.

For the Guacamole –
Scoop out the avocado into a small bowl. Add the seasonings and stir!
Add a scoop of guacamole on top of the queso!
*For best results, mix it all together along with a dollop of sour cream!

BYO Pretzel Hot Dogs

BYO Pretzel Hot Dogs

Ingredients

Hot Dogs – any meat of your choice (I recommend an array of beef, chicken and vegetarian)
Pretzel buns
Condiments such as – ketchup, relish, mustard (ground, spicy, yellow and dijon), jalapeños, sauerkraut, and cheese sauce!)

Directions

Set out everything on a serving tray. Put each condiment in their own individual dish along with serving spoons. Place out hot dog holders so guests can easily build their hot dog!

Guacamole with Sunflower Seeds

INGREDIENTS

2 tbs EVOO
1/2 cup non salted sunflower seeds
Kosher Salt
3 Hass avocados, halved and pitted
1/4 cup minced white onion
2 jalapeños, seeded (or not for an extra kick!) and minced
2 tbs fresh lime juice
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
Zesty Jalapeño Cheddar Popchips for dipping!

DIRECTIONS

In a medium skillet, heat the oil until shimmering. Add the sunflower seeds and cook, stirring until lightly toasted, about 3 minutes. Transfer the sunflower seeds to paper towels to drain; reserve the oil in the skillet. Season the sunflower seeds with salt.
Scoop the avocados into a medium bowl, and coarsely mash with a masher or whisk.
Stir in the onion, jalapeños, lime juice, chopped cilantro, and all but 2 tbs of the sun flower seeds.
Scrape the guacamole into a serving bowl; drizzle some reserved oil on top. Garnish with the cilantro leaves and remaining sunflower seeds. Serve with Zesty Jalapeño Cheddar Popchips and a side of pico de gallo!

Individual Steak Nachos

Individual Steak Nachos

Ingredients

Round Tortilla Chips
Shredded Cheese
Steak
Salt
Pepper
Topping of your choice (guacamole, pico de gallo, sour cream, etc.)

Directions

Season the steak with salt and pepper. Cook the steak in a pan on medium to high heat until medium rare. Lay out each round tortilla chip on a baking sheet and top each one with steak and shredded cheese. Broil on high for 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted. Top each nacho with your toppings or set the toppings out in small dishes with serving spoons for your guests to create their own!

Football Brownies

Football Brownies

Ingredients

1 box brownie mix, plus ingredients called for on box
1/3 c. heavy cream
1 c. semisweet chocolate chips
2 tbsp. Baileys Irish Cream
2/3 c. powdered sugar
3 1/2 tsp. milk

Directions

Preheat oven to 350° and line a 9″-x-13″ pan with parchment paper. Prepare brownie mix according to instructions and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 20 to 23 minutes. Let cool completely.
Cut football shaped brownies out of baked brownies and place on a cooling rack placed over a baking sheet.
Place semisweet chocolate chips in a heat proof bowl and microwave cream until hot, about 40 seconds. Pour cream over chocolate and let sit 3 minutes, then stir until creamy and no lumps remain. Add Baileys and stir until smooth.
Dip brownies in ganache and place in the refrigerator to set, 30 minutes.
Making icing: In a small bowl, stir powdered sugar and milk until thoroughly combined. Place icing into a piping bag or resealable plastic bag and cut a very small hole in the tip. Decorate each football with laces, then return tray to the refrigerator to harden, 5 minutes more.
