Inspiration for Every Occasion

A Valentines Table Setting

February 12, 2020 · In: Valentines Inspiration

So in love with this little set up!

One of my favorite home brands, Fete Home, gifted me the most beautiful Limerance Table Cloth and Napkins and Beaded plates all by Fete Home just in time for valentines day! I love these themed additions to my collection. They make for such an easy way to set up a holiday themed event. Adding in my brass flatware, these new black glasses I purchased in Portland, single blooms for pink and white flowers, this table setting is the perfect and simple set up for valentines day. Wether it’s just the two of you, you’re hosting a “galentines” night for your gal pals, or a couples dinner party, this table setting could not be more perfect. I can’t wait to feature these beaded plates again for spring!

Looking for a menu idea for valentines day? Jeremy and I are still up in the air on what we are going to make, but here are a few recipes we have in mind!

Valentines Dinner Menu

To Start:

Beet Salad with Candied Marcona

Main:

Roasted Red Pepper Alla Vodka Pasta

Slow Cooker French Wine and Mustard Chicken

Brown Butter Lobster Ravioli with Tomato Cream Sauce

Dessert:

Flourless Chocolate Espresso Cake

I love pairing gold with black and a pop of color. It gives the table setting a modern feel!

A fun trick I learned from a florist friend is that once you de-leaf the stems, take the rose in your hand and twist. This helps open up the flower! You can also peel back the petals to help open them up as well, this gives the rose a very modern look!
