The Art of Mixing Patterns

I am a huge fan of maxing patterns and prints. Some times I can go a little over board but fashion is about taking risks right? Stripes and animal print is one of my favorite patterns to mix with. The contrast of the two mesh so well together. And don’t be afraid to mix it if your stripes are navy and you print is black – navy and black work so well together, people tend to get scared of that! I always try and keep my animal print patterned more of a beige toned like these Sam Edelman ankle boots. They are perfect for mixing with any sort of print. It has taken me awhile to get back into buying jeans – I hate trying them on and it can be discouraging when you have to go up a size, am I right? I desperatly wanted a pair of ripped jeans though and I couldn’t get myself to spend over $100 on jeans that had holes in them.
