A Backyard Cinco De Mayo Party

Continuing day 2 of Cinco de Mayo week, I am sharing a styled backyard cinco de mayo party! This sweet little party is so easy for you to recreate. I simply just used my friends coffee table over a blanket and added pillows for seating. Have a tray accessible with margaritas and adorable cocktail napkins like these fiesta siesta piñata ones from Waiting on Martha. Cinco de Mayo happens to fall on my good friends birthday and is the day after Jeremy’s birthday, so there is a lot of celebrating going on!

I am so in love with these pillows from target too! They are so fun and a great pop of color for this party. They also make for adorable throw pillows for your living room.

For each place setting have a mini piñata! You can write each persons name on them (I recommend just attaching a tag with each name on it), or add a little note to the inside on the piñata for a fun surprise!

When it comes to what to serve I recommend keeping to the theme! This Chicken Fajita & Rice Soup is the perfect cinco de mayo recipe! I also recommend tacos, quesadillas or a delicious taco salad.
