The Every Hostess

Inspiration for Every Occasion

Blush Bomber Jacket

March 8, 2017 · In: The Every Traveller, What to Wear

I recently took my first trip to Palm Springs…

Featured Products

I have followed a lot of bloggers out of California who often visit this magical land and stay at The Parker Hotel. Envious, I jumped on the opportunity to see for myself what the hype was about when a blogger conference announced they were hosting this years Alt Summit in Palm Springs! I opted to not stay at the hotel the conference was being held at and chose to stay at The Parker Hotel, which did not disappoint. I completely understand the draw for LA-ites to venture to the desert for a weekend getaway. This hotel was beyond expectations. It completely felt like a resort hidden in this small area they call Palm Springs. Basically,  the only version of Palm Springs you would ever need to experience. From walking through the gardens to your hotel suite, the two pools (one adult only, can I get a hell yes!?), and Norma’s, a restaurant with the most decadent menu of food and cocktails, this hotel had everything you could ever want.

The decor though, had to be my favorite part of this hotel. Johnathan Adler, a interior designer we all know, completely designed the entire hotel with quirky pieces from his collections. My favorite area was the hotel lobby. Entering into the hotel you just knew you were in such a cool place and were bound to have a groovy time here.

One of my current favorite pieces I have been wearing is this blush colored Journey bomber jacket from Anthropologie. It is seriously so perfect for spring! For this look I paired it with my favorite off the shoulder top and metallic loafers (they are old but find a similar pair here). There are so many ways to style this look that I will share lots of throughout the spring!

If you are every considering the idea of a Palm Springs trip, I highly recommend it at least once in your life!
