We have a special guest today!
I love finding inspiration from all over, especially when it comes from your roots. I owe my mom credit for a lot of what I have learned when it comes to hostessing. She is my etiquette queen and without her wisdom I wouldn’t know half of what I do without her. We are originally Canadian but our heritage comes from Poland and Ireland! I like to think that I keep part of my roots in drawing my inspiration for hostessing!
I absolutely love this bohemian inspired table setting from this featured hostess on the blog today! From the moody floral arrangement to the gorgeous bright napkins and hint of brass, Song Lor of Simply Song Events created the perfect boho table setting inspired by her heritage!

From Song: I drew inspiration from my Hmong heritage by adding a touch of Hmong bohemian napkins to the table setting. The napkins are printed by the Hmong tribe who is an ethnic group from Southern Asia. Because Fall is upon us, I curated a boho table setting by making blue the main color theme and also because it is the perfect color for Fall. I also wanted to create an elegant table setting so with the help from The Perfect Petal, they created a very romantic all white floral centerpiece, which tied the look together. Last but not least my favorite detail is the beautiful calligraphy menu and name tags designed by Amanda Xiong , I love how the gold adds a special touch of elegance to everything.
