Just in time for Cinco De Mayo!
Happy Friday ya’ll! The Every Hostess is getting a new groove, so every Friday expect to see a new delicious cocktail recipe! As we head into cinco de mayo celebrations this weekend, this Cactus Margarita is the perfect cocktail to make! A twist on your regular margarita and made with these fun strawberry cactus ice cubes (you can make the ice cubes with any fruit!) to give it that little fruit kick as the ice melts! This also makes for a fabulous summer cocktail to serve at your next summer party! Happy weekend!

Cactus Margarita
INGREDIENTSMuddled strawberries (or any fruit you prefer!)
- Cactus ice tray
- Ice cubes.
- 3 ounces tequila.
- 2 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice.
- 1 ounce agave
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon cointreau
- 1 tablespoon Salt

DIRECTIONS
- Add the strawberries to your ice mold and top with water. Put in the freezer for about 1-2 hours. Meanwhile, mix together the tequila, lime juice, agave and cointreau with ice in a shaker!
- To salt the rim of each glass I always pour a good amount of salt onto a small plate, then using a sliced lime, rim the glass with the lime then dip it in the salt!
- Pour and serve!
