A little glimpse into my Dallas bridal shower!

In case you did not know this fun fact, I was raised in Dallas! I feel so lucky to grow up in such a beautiful and fun place. I have the best memories of my childhood here and Dallas will forever hold a very special place in my heart. I now live in Denver and couldn’t imagine being anywhere else! However, I will always make it home to Dallas for friends and family, or in this case, my bridal shower!
Hosted by one of my best friends moms (and my other mother :)), this shower was nothing short than perfect. I have to apologize a head of time, I am kicking myself for not bringing a better camera, but all these photos were taken on my phone!
My shower was held at Hotel St. Germain, a very special place in Dallas. My mother had actually hosted my high school graduation party here (what feels like many, many years ago), so when asked where I wanted to have my bridal shower this was the first place that came to mind! Greeted by a friendly “bonjour”, the minute you step into Hotel St. Germain you are instantly in Paris! The whole hotel has the most charming French feel. My favorite room is the powder blue sitting room just behind the concierge. I could imagine sipping tea in here wearing a chic Parisian outfit.
The party was held in their main dining room, a tea party to be exact. If there is one thing I love more than meat and cheese plates, it’s tea parties! Guests were greeted with a glass of champagne and sat down to tea sandwiches, salads, scones and the most incredible array of desserts. A fun little detail the hostess added were these cookies with a photo of Jeremy, Winston and I!
I chose to wear this little Self Portrait number that I wore in our engagement photos! I wanted one more reason to whip this dress out, and this was the perfect setting.
