DIY Holiday Wreath

December 16, 2015 · In: Holiday Entertaining, Lifestyle, Parties

The lovely ladies of Plum Sage share how to make your own holiday wreath.

Apart of the Wreath Making Party featured yesterday, I wanted to share the steps on making DIY Holiday Wreath. Something I love about Plum Sage is that they love to forage when making arrangements. When it comes to wreath making it is so easy to forage your backyard for all the supplies.

SUPPLIES:

  • Shears
  • Wreath Frame
  • Pine and Foliage of your choice (forage!)
  • Floral wire

1. Create the base of the wreath by placing one piece of the pine on the wreath Ring and wire it down to the ring with the floral wire. Do this by looping the wire around a sturdy stem of the foliage then around the wreath ring. Continue to do this all the way around the ring until it is full

2. Once you have created the base, feel free to add in another type of greenery throughout for texture and variety.

3. Add a burst of fun textures with berries, leaves or ornaments. Wire these into the ring the same way you wired down the main foliage.

4. We finished our wreath with a Christmas ribbon!
