Easter Table Inspiration

I love any excuse for brunch.

There is something about getting friends together on a weekend to spend hours drinking mimosas talking about the week you had and enjoying a delicious meal. Hosting brunch is my all time favorite! I love being in control of everything (ha call me a control freak!) from the table setting to the menu and making sure my guests are happy. If you are the hostess for brunch this weekend DO NOT STRESS my friend. One, it’s Easter and such a happy celebration of life, and two, I have some great inspiration for you along with a couple tips!

1. Menu

The easiest thing you can make for brunch is smoked salmon bagels. Yes, salmon is pricey but it’s a simple meal to serve and so easy to prepare. You can either buy the raw salmon and serve that way or buy a salmon to make and do cooked salmon. Make your own cream cheese by adding chives and green onion. Have red onions sliced, everything bagels already toasted and capers. And don’t forget the mimosas!

2. Decor

The table should be bright and fun. Whites and greys with pops of green is my favorite color scheme. I have to admit, I had a whole table in mind to share with you (which is going to go up next week!) but it was strangely more “Kate Spade” themed! Pinks, black and white and pops of gold. I thought this would be fun for a girls Easter brunch but looking through all the inspiration I pulled from Pinterest I love the soft grey colors.

3. Place Cards

The simplest thing you can do for a place card is taking hard boiled eggs and writing each persons name on them! Use a gold glitter pen to make it prettier! Put a piece of non stick tape down on the table so they don’t roll around.

4. Drinks

Duh, you cannot have brunch without cocktails! Other than mimosas with orange juice try mixing different types of juices – I love grapefruit or pomegranate juice.
