My Cher moment.
I have had the honor of inheriting some amazing vintage finds from my grandmother. Items from the 20’s to the 70’s, all in still pretty good condition for being shoved in the back of her closet. I have found a new appreciation of vintage things since my grandmother has passed. There is something magical about wondering where she wore them, what experiences she had in them, the memories and the moments she lived in them. This pearl ring was the perfect centerpiece to describe something similar to my grandmothers style and something I would wear today. I paired the ring around what I like to call a “Clueless” moment. There is something about a plaid skirt that always reminds me of Cher Horowitz picking out her outfit for the day from that amazing computer program which pairs a top and bottom and pulls it out of her closet for here (why has no one made a 2014 version of that?). You cant go wrong with pairing this McQueen skirt with a cozy sweater, booties and a hint of leopard to complete this fall look!
