Fifty Shades Darker, the second installment to the Fifty Shades film series is now on iTunes, and coming to Blu-ray May 9th! As a lover of the Fifty Shades series, this was by far my favorite movie and guilty pleasure. Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson star in the second tantalizing installment of the global phenomenon sparked by E.L. James’ best-selling book trilogy returns with the second chapter of the darkly alluring tale that captivated the world. Fans can now stay in and have the ultimate Girls Night In with Fifty Shades Darker Unrated Edition, and this time, there are no rules and no secrets.

To celebrate the fact that fans can now own the movie, I put together this simple girls movie night with the perfect cocktail to make, The Kinky Vanilla! Equip with popcorn and candy, this party is simple to set up for a night to watch the movie at home with your girls.

I set the party display in our living room on our coffee table for easy access to snacks and cocktail throughout the movie. The girls are able to dig into popcorn and candy, but the treat of the night were these specialty cocktails, The Kinky Vanilla! Made with Ben and Jerry’s Vanilla ice cream (if you’ve seen the movie already you should know the reference!), but with a delicious kick of whiskey, baileys, and espresso! The girls are able to top their cocktails off with a little whipped cream and candied walnuts mixed with chocolate chips! A true “kinky” delight! Get the recipe below!

The Kinky Vanilla

Ingredients

Ben and Jerrys Vanilla Ice Cream (1 or 2 scoops)
2 oz Whiskey
1 oz Baileys
1 oz Espresso (cooled)
Whipped cream
Caramel Sauce
Candied walnuts and chocolate chips (for garnish)

Directions

Fill the glasses with whiskey and add the vanilla ice cream. Top with Baileys and add the espresso (make sure it is cooled). Give the mixture a small stir making sure to not melt down the ice cream. Top with whipped cream, caramel sauce and nut mixture! Add a fun straw and serve!
