Getting ready for a halloween party?

Last weekend we hosted a halloween cocktail party. I have to brag…boy do I know how to throw a party! A lot of the time for the blog the parties are just styled shoots and we don’t get to actually enjoy them. It was humbling after this party to hear how much fun everyone had. One of my favorite aspects of the night was our Halloween candy bar. I spray painted medium sized pumpkins black and made faces on them with candy. There were little cups and treat bags like these ones from Target for guests to fill with their choice of candy. Along side the candy you cannot forget the wine! I found these spooky wine bottles from Target as well and had the wine glasses look like there was wine dripping from them (corn syrup and red food coloring – click here to see how I did it for these cocktails).
