Does anyone wish they could still trick-or-treat?
I miss the excitement of dressing up on halloween night, meeting up with other kids in the neighborhood and going around to all the houses trick-or-treating. Then later scouring through your candy bag to see what kind of treats you got! It’s such a fun memory to have as a kid. Friends of mine who have children (sorry, still not close to that yet!), throw little cocktail parties at one of their houses during trick-or-treating hours to get the adults together. I like to think of it as a Trick-or-Treating Party, for Adults! This is such a fun idea to get your kiddos together with other friends so they can all trick-or-treat together. Meanwhile, you and the adults can drink wine and munch on yummy snacks! Below, I rounded up a few party supplies that are a must have for decorating your house for halloween and hosting a little Trick-or-Treating Party, for Adults.
Have light snacks, like a cheese board and charcuterie, and offer champagne and white and red wine. I love this cheese board, it’s perfect for halloween but also would be so fun to put out at your thanksgiving festivities. Make sure to have little snacks and juice boxes for the little ones too! Don’t have kids? You can still host a little trick-or-treating party for your friends on halloween night! This is my kind of party (kid free, haha). We are moving into a neighborhood that is filled with trick-or-treaters and I cant wait to have some friends over for wine and cheese to hand out candy with us! Additionally, put on a scary halloween movie, or a personal favorite, Hocus Pocus. Happy haunting!
