Oh what fun!

Christmas feels like its quickly creeping up on us! I don’t know about ya’ll but I am feeling like I don’t have enough time to host holiday parties while also getting holiday chores done. So. What better way to check both off the list than hosting a holiday wrapping party! It’s the perfect way to get your friends and family together for a fun filled evening while also taking care of that last holiday “chore”. This would be such a fun party to host a day or two before Christmas to really get into the spirit. Equipped with 90+Cellars bubbly and a festive dessert board, this is such a simple party to host!

The Invite:
Send out these Lana’s Shop cute printable invites! They are so fun because you can just fill in al the event details and easily mail them out OR even scan them and email them to your guests! Use code HOLIDAYHANG to get 10% off!

Set the Scene:
Set the scene by picking a cozy spot in your home to wrap gifts, such as your living room! Make sure to have blankets and pillows out for guests to really get cozy. Put out a dessert board along with a selection of bubbly (my personal favorite is the 90+Cellars Lambrusco!) on a coffee table or side table so guests can munch while wrapping. Have holiday music on in the background or a holiday movie playing on your TV! Make sure to have glassware for the bubbly and plates out so guests can help themselves!

Making a Dessert Board:
To make the dessert board pick out a few festive desserts such a peppermint bark, Christmas cookies, candy canes and chocolates from your local Whole Foods. Make sure to use a large board or plate that can hold everything. Lay each dessert out into piles of the same around the board. Add in mini peppermints, rosemary and cranberries for additional decor!

Let’s Wrap!
Make sure to have all the “tools” provided for your guests so they only have to provide wrapping paper. Tools such as tape, scissors and ribbon options! Provide a few options for wrapping paper, I am so in love with all of the holiday paper from Lana’s Shop! Have each guest bring wrapping paper to contribute. If you want all the wrapping to coincide, pick a color theme such as “neutral tones” or “mountains” and tell your guest – you can also plan for each guest to only use their own wrapping paper they brought. (I hate mis matching presents haha.)
