January, once again, was the longest month….
Does anyone else feel that way? I saw a meme the other day that said “it feels like January 74th”. Haha! That cracks me up every time. It weirdly always feels like the longest month of the year. Once February hits, time flies by! But, I love that the beginning of February always feels like the actual start of the year. And, what better way to start off the year than with prepping for Valentine’s Day.
My friend just asked me (literally as I was writing this) if I loved Valentine’s Day – my answer, yes! There is something quite charming about this one little holiday surrounded by love. Whether you’re in a relationship or not – it’s a great excuse to host a get together – with whoever it may be. I loved the heart theme, the simplicity of gifts (flowers and cards are all you need to give) and that it’s a celebration around loved ones. Equipped with 90+ Cellars sparking wine, little Valentine’s themed snacks, this party is so easy to throw together for either a galentine’s night in with your girlfriends or even a valentine’s night in with your loved one. This can easily be turned into a movie night too!

Set the Scene:
This set up is perfect for a coffee table setting near a couch so guests can easily get cozy. Make sure to set out glassware, all the snacks in little bowls, napkins and chilled wine. I love a setting where guests can help themselves throughout the evening so you can focus on hosting them. Make sure to always keep their glasses full with 90+ Cellars Lot 49 Sparkling rosé or 90+ Cellars prosecco. Have cozy pillows out on the couch or even the floor – I especially love adding a touch of pink in the pillow scheme to add to the theme!

Valentine’s Snacks:
The grocery stores all start carrying the cutest Valentine’s Day themed candy and snacks! Stock up on any you think might be yummy for this setting. I chose jelly beans, gummy and these delicious ice cream cookie sandwiches along with popcorn for something savory. For this cozy night in, it’s best to serve finger foods that can easily be munched on through the evening.

Decor:
Keep the decor simple with pink and white flowers set throughout the setting. I also love adding a colorful glass to fit in the theme like these pink ones featured! Additionally a fun valentine’s themed napkin such as these Fete Home napkins make for any easy way to dress up this casual cozy setting.

Pass the Bubbly:
Bubbly is always a good idea. Especially when it comes to valentine’s day. 90+ Cellars Lot 49 Sparkling rosé and Prosecco are the perfect go to! Both are light, filled with bubbles and not too sweet. They pair great with a simple valentine’s night in candies and popcorn or even a cozy valentine’s dinner such as lasagna and a simple salad. You really can’t go wrong with a wine that pairs well with every setting this Valentine’s Day!
