I don’t know about y’all, but I absolutely love the Pitch Perfect movie series. They are hilarious, heartwarming and the perfect movie to watch with your best gals! Pitch Perfect 3 is now available to download on iTunes and I cannot wait to watch this movie with my girlfriends! In order to host the perfect #PitchesNightIn, there are a few key things you need for the perfect movie night.
First, the right spread! I absolutely love movie nights in. Likely because of all the “movie” snacks you get to eat! I never fail to pop some popcorn and pour the perfect cocktail when watching a movie at home. My go to snack when it comes to hosting a movie night, is popcorn and candy. There never seems to be a better time for this combination than movie night! So why not serve it at your #PitchesNightIn! Place out different flavored popcorn such as kettle corn and regular buttered popcorn so your guests have options and can have a little sweet and a little salty. I love these popcorn bowls for movie nights at home so your guests can have their own individual popcorn to snack on. Pick out a few of your and your guests favorite candies and serve them in these cute little bowls for guests to munch on during the movie. Gummy bears, Hot Tamales and Milk Duds are my weakness! Adding a simple arrangement of flowers gives any spread that perfect something pretty to tie everything together. Don’t forget to set out napkins and paper straws additionally so you don’t need to get up during the movie!
Set up a cozy space on your couch for watching the movie! Make sure to have tons of blankets and pillows so your guests can settle in. Always have your movie night spread out on your coffee table so it’s easily accessible and guests don’t have to keep getting up throughout the movie. Clear off your coffee table completely so you have plenty of room to put out your snacks, bowls and most importantly, the signature cocktail!
Watching Pitch Perfect 3 isn’t complete without the perfect themed cocktail! Try this Red, White and Bella’s cocktail which is a twist on sangria and includes champagne! Nothing better to sip on during a girls night! You can make this in a pitcher with ice to have out along with your spread so you and your guests can easily replenish your cocktail throughout the movie!

Red, White, and Bella’s Cocktail
INGREDIENTS
- 1 bottle dry White wine (I used an inexpensive Chennin Blanc)
- 1 Cup white grape juice
- 2 Cup blueberries
- 1 lb strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 bottle champagne/sparkling wine or Prosecco
- 2 apples, thinly sliced
DIRECTIONS
- Stir together the white wine, white grape juice, blueberries and strawberries in a large pitcher. Cover and refrigerate for up to 4 hours. The longer it sits, the redder it will be.
- When you’re ready to serve, add the chilled champagne and apple slices then pour over ice.
