July 4th Table Setting Inspiration

June 24, 2024 · In: Fourth of July, Parties, Summer Entertaining

My favorite way to kick off summer!

There is something about July 4th that feels like summer is officially kicked off. The delicious food spread of bbq ribs, potato salad and watermelon, gathering with family and friends outside and celebrating in cute summer attire! For this year’s July 4th table setting inspiration I wanted to lean more into the theme of July 4th and give you some simple inspiration to put your table setting together. From blue napkins to star napkin rings, these simple table setting details will be sure to pop at your July 4th themed party!

One of my favorite details in the July 4th table setting are these cute little star bowls. I initially bought them to show how fun they would be for putting side sauces in or peaches and ice cream for dessert as another option. When it came to putting the table setting together I thought to myself, how cute to hold tea candles in instead to add more July 4th theme to this table setting! I fully plan to reuse them though for their intended use at a later party this summer – this is why I chose the white color, so they could be more versatile.

My advice when putting together your July 4th table setting is to have fun with the details but don’t over do it. Set the scene with majority neutral colors the follow with your pops of red, white and blue. Oh! and one key table setting tip as we head into summer is putting out these tea light citronella candles! The mosquitos have been swarming here in Colorado and there is nothing worse than your guests getting bitten during a gorgeous dinner party!
