Happy fall Friday!
Over night it seems as though fall hit Denver HARD. I went on a run this morning and couldn’t help but notice how gorgeous it was that the leaf color had changed, the air was a little crisper and the sun was perfectly overcast. There truly was nothing better than the leaves crunching under my feet as I ran around the park. Such a quintessential fall day. In the spirit, this pumpkin patch martini is THE perfect fall cocktail to enjoy on this fall Friday afternoon. (How many more times will I say “fall” in this post, haha). A twist on one of my favorite Colorado based food bloggers – Half Baked Harvest – Pumpkin Patch Punch, this cocktail will have you sipping fall all Friday night long!

Pumpkin Patch Martini
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 cup pumpkin butter homemade or store bought
- 8 ounces vodka
- 4 ounces brandy
- 2 thinly sliced apples, for garnish
- cinnamon sticks, for garnish
- sage, for garnish
- cinnamon sugar, for rims
DIRECTIONS
- In a large pitcher, combine the apple cider, orange juice, lemon juice, pumpkin butter, vodka, and brandy.
- Rim each cocktail coupe with cinnamon sugar. An easy trick is using agave or honey first, then dipping it into the sugar.
- Add ice to each glass and pour in the mixture.
- Garnish with apple slices, cinnamon sticks and sage!
