Inspiration for Every Occasion

Siracha Salmon

July 24, 2018 · In: Recipes

My go to easy weeknight recipe!

When it comes to week night meals, let alone what to serve for a dinner party, the simpler the better. By that though, I mean don’t pick too many items to serve in a recipe. Keep it to one protein, a side and a salad plus a little appetizer. It makes cooking easier, plus most people aren’t looking for a full spread, just a delicious meal! This siracha salmon is such a crowd pleaser, especially with my husband. The marinade is seriously so delicious, I have put it on chicken, ahi tuna and shrimp!

I am such a fan of salmon though. It’s such an easy protein to make, especially for a dinner party! Paired with a mango, avocado, tomato and cucumber salad (literally just chop up each ingredient and mix together with olive oil, salt and pepper!), this is such a simple weeknight recipe and the perfect recipe to make for your next dinner party.

Siracha Salmon

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 pieces of salmon

For the marinade –

  • 2 tbs agave
  • 2 tbs soy sauce (I prefer Tamari)
  • 3 tbs siracha (or less if you prefer not too spicy)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Pre-heat your oven to 400°.
  2. In a small bowl mix together the marinade ingredients. Taste test to see what to add more of, don’t over do the siracha though!
  3. Line a baking sheet with foil and place each piece of salmon on top.
  4. Brush the marinade onto of each piece. Covering it fully! (You can also add the marinade to the salmon in a plastic bag overnight to really marinade it more, but this works too!).
  5. Cook for 20 minutes until the salmon is slightly white!
