A simple summer dessert.
We love a simple dessert to make for a dinner party. If you haven’t figured it out by now, I am not a baker. I don’t have the patience for measuring everything plus it takes sooo much time. I like that cooking is more of estimating how much, taste testing and can take up as much time as you need to throw together a meal. When it comes to throwing dinner parties, the last thing I want to think about it also making a dessert. Anything that is simple to whip up is my go to and these strawberry cake stacks are exactly that. Fresh strawberries, delicious whipping cream and sliced angel food cake is all you need! Fancy it up with some lemon zest and mint and you will wow your crowd at your next dinner party. I also love that these are meant to be made and eaten on the spot so you know if I am whipping them up, they really are a simple summer dessert!
