What to Wear to a Baby Shower

It’s baby season!

I don’t know about ya’ll, but it seems like SO many of my girlfriends are pregnant right now. It’s such an exciting time and I cannot wait to start having babies around in my life. Now, now, mom and Lori (mother in law)… I have no idea when we plan to have kids. But for now, its so much fun to look forward to someone else’s baby – whom you get to give back to the parents once it starts crying haha. I was invited to two back to back baby showers this past weekend, which I could unfortunately not attend. I was thinking though about what I would have worn and thought I would do a post about what to wear to a baby shower. I’ve been asked this a lot surprisingly! For a baby shower, the best go to is wearing a lighter, pastel color or white/ivory. Baby showers, to me, are airy and happy, so being in a lighter color you perfectly match the theme. Plus, being the gal in the bold dress, you’re going to stand out! So, stick to lighter colors to let the momma to be shine! Pair any of these looks with a simple slide sandal and basket bag!
