Get back to werk!
It’s almost the end of February and most of us are likely slacking on our new years resolutions. We tend to start off January feeling really good then falling back into old habits. I sure have! We have been traveling every weekend for the past month so it has been especially hard keeping up with healthy eating and workouts. This week I have started off on a better note and wanted to share some ways to keep on track, especially if you have fallen off the path.

1. Write everything down. Keep a journal and write everything you eat and your workouts in it. This will keep you honest with your daily routine and you are able to keep track of your progress.

2. Make a schedule. I always sign up for my weekly classes ahead of time and write them all down in my calendar. {Most of the workouts I do charge $10 if you cancel last minute!} This is another way to keep me honest and on track.
3. Don’t treat this like a diet. In all my experience of trying to get into shape I have found making changes to your eating habits as a lifestyle choice is the best way to go about it. It’s OK to have a cheat meal (just don’t make every meal and cheat meal), wine is OK during the week (though I do recommend not to drink on week days). Don’t deprive yourself! Life is too short!
