Hosting a Cozy Fall Football Watching Party

I’m kicking off the beginning of fall with a football watching party, even the ladies will enjoy! As you all know, I don’t watch football – I’m here for the beverages and snacks. So when it comes to a football watching party, there has to be great snacks, beverages and of course a cute table setting. Taelor of Taebur and I put together the perfect little football watching party spread to accomplish just that! Equipped with a selection of 90+ Cellars wine, this football watching party if guaranteed to be a hit!

For Decor –

The theme is everything when it comes to a football watching party. We chose this fun football field table runner to line the table setting and added mini footballs down the center of the table as well as on each place setting. Gold flatware gave the perfect pop of an accent to the settings as well as black and white striped napkins (old, from West Elm). For the centerpiece we chose white and red dahlias to give the table a cozy fall feel!

For the Food Spread –

As I mentioned before, the food is everything when it comes to a football watching party. This party also calls for the perfect food and wine pairing! Fried Goat Cheese balls complimented with 90+ Cellars chardonnay, fully loaded queso compliments with 90+ cellars Lambrusco and BBQ chicken sliders to go with 90+ Cellars Langhe Rosso. For a fun, themed way to display the food line each serving platter with faux grass! This gives the spread and even more “football” themed feel.

Setting the Scene –

Set up a table setting on your dining room table (close to a television) so your guests can relax, have a proper seat and munch of food! If your dining table is far from the nearest television you can easily take this spread to a coffee table in your living room OR set this up on your kitchen counter along with smaller plates for guests to easily graze. Make sure to have a wine opener available so your guests can easily dig into the 90+ Cellars wine!
