Halloween is one of my favorite holidays to throw a party for! I love getting our friends to dress up and join us for a dinner party, house party or spooky movie night. It’s even more fun to decorate for a halloween party! From pumpkins to spider web, black candles and more, the more spooky decor the better! If you plan on hosting A Spooky Halloween Dinner Party, this post is for you! This spooky, yet classic, table setting will give you lots of inspiration, especially when you see the dessert bar equipped with Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory halloween treats!

For the table setting, keep things simple while still adding a little halloween scare. I pulled these white china plates with a black rims from my collection. You can use plain white plates as well. A black spider and lace table runner down the middle of the table gives the setting a spooky feeling. Add black candles, pumpkins and skeletons as accents pieces. I especially love the spooky centerpiece by Paubird Floral! You can easily spray paint flowers black to create something similar.

At each spot I set out these adorable witch hats for each guests place card. It also makes for something fun for them to wear during dinner (especially that one guest who opted out of dressing up)! Black napkins and themed cups are other ways to dress up your table. Basically, have fun with it! The spookier, the better.

Aside from serving a delicious and goulish meal, the dessert bar is the most important part at any halloween party! Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory has the perfect assortment of halloween treats, such as Pumpkin Toffee, Sinister Sea Salt Truffles and Caramel Apples. The Carmel apples are especially cute and perfect to set out at each place setting! At your dessert bar make sure to have champagne or an aperitif available so guests can help themselves to a cocktail to enjoy with their dessert! Create a fun display for all the desserts with vintage silver trays, pumpkins, candles and other spooky accents. Fun tip: set a plate on top of a black cauldron to act as a pedestal! You could also fill it with dry ice so it seeps out beneath the plate!

This is such a fun party idea to host this halloween! Most importantly, don’t forget your sweet halloween treats from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory!
