Getting out of this comfortable of a bed was tough.
As I was brushing my teeth getting ready for the day I heard a thundering sound coming up the road. A little frightened but curious, I peaked outside of my teepee bathroom to see a herd of horses coming up the road. This was an unforgettable moment at the glamping site and one you likely will not see often. The horses are kept on the ranch [4 Eagle Ranch] in a pastor and in the morning are herded to the barn to be taken on trail rides for the day. Seeing them all coming up the road was such a breathtaking moment and wow, what a way to start the morning at the ranch!

Opening up my tent doors I was greeted by a small basket full of banana bread, fruit and jam. Such a special treat! I took a moment to sit out on the porch of the tent to enjoy my basket, a coffee and to take in the scenery and the morning light.

After my “me” time I made my way up to the breakfast area with Amanda, just a few steps away from the tents. There we were greeted by Lisa, Jamie and the Chef who spoiled us with a delicious breakfast! Every morning they offer pancakes and bacon (amazing bacon!!) and eggs your choice. This was the perfect way to kick off the day full of adventure here in the Vail Valley.
