Some of my favorite halloween memories as a child include the excitement of picking out what character you go to dress up as that year and the immense amounts of candy you were going to indulge in. My go to was always a witch. I don’t know why but there was something about the black costume and dramatic makeup that was so much fun to dress up as. I always thought about being a princess and dousing myself in glitter, but it never came to fruition, the witch always won. I think it had something to do with my obsession with the movie Hocus Pocus. There is something about Halloween candy that makes eating candy so fun. The small size perhaps, however I think we all end up eating five full sized candy bars by the end of day. As an adult I do not refrain from purchasing lots of Halloween candy to linger the house.
