As a dog lover and a new dog mom, I am fully aware of the desires to spoil your pet. The love you feel for your little guy is like no other when it comes to having a dog and making sure you little buddy knows that should be top responsibility every day! When I was approached to do a feature on Among the Colors dog birthday party I about fell out of my seat of pure jealousy that Winston has yet to have a party thrown for him (yes, he is not even six months… but I love this little guy!). Equip with pina coldas for the adults and birthday treats for the pups, this Yappy Hour was one any dog should not have missed!
“The concept for the party was “Yappy Hour,” a backyard happy hour with a few dear friends and their dogs. And because why not, I themed the party a “Puppy Pirate” party, and went with tropical-inspired adult treats to match. We had dog pupcakes, tennis balls, and bones for the dogs. And most importantly, we had a full tropical spread for the adults; pina coladas, mango guacamole, tropical shrimp cocktail and freshly sliced watermelon.
